The Contemporary Persian Novel in the Arab World

Spanning more than twenty countries, the Arab world has always paid special attention to Iranian culture, civilization, language, and literature due to its ancient ties with the Iranian people. In twentieth century, programs related to Persian studies, particularly Persian language and literature were founded in Arabian universities and there is a lot of Arabic research and publishing in this field. This article looks at Persian studies in the Arab world by first examining the contemporary Persian novel as it relates to the Arab peoples.
